Quartix a finalist in awards scheme
Tracking systems supplier Quartix has been named regional winner in its category in the National Business Awards scheme, and will go forward to the finals at the Grosvenor Hotel in London this November. The category which Quartix won is small to medium business, which includes companies turning over up to £10 million a year. Quartix offers an Internet-based vehicle tracking system that is said to be in use by more than 1,500 UK companies tracking over 12,000 commercial vehicles. The company is based at Newtown in Wales, and was set up in 2001. The awards scheme is sponsored by Orange, and aims to recognise business excellence, placing particular emphasis placed on ongoing innovation and ethical growth, underpinned by strong financial performance.
* Quartix says its GPRS-based tracking systems can be installed on site in an hour, and the system is protected by a comprehensive manufacturer's warranty.
