AirVersent - the new name for Telepartner
A formal launch has been given to AirVersent, the unusual name adopted for the enlarged group of which UK field service solutions specialist Telepartner Systems is now a part. Telepartner and the mobile asset management division of US-based TeleCommunications Systems were combined in a £3.5 million funding deal earlier this year. Telepartner provides field service applications and operates a managed mobile service called ServiceNet, which is aimed at small and medium-sized companies. This offers field force management, scheduling and appointment booking as a service. BT Global Services remarkets ServiceNet in the UK and continental Europe as BT Mobile on Demand. Other customers include HP, Cardinal Health and Staples. TeleCommunications Systems' 'Delivery' product handles collection, delivery and logistics applications and includes barcode scanning, wireless messaging, electronic signature capture, configurable forms and GPS tracking. A 'stand-out' feature enables customers to create forms in real time on a mobile device. Both solutions are available either as a managed software as a service (SaaS) application or as a licensed software product for installation on a customer's premises.
