Masternaut enters Tech Track 100 list
Masternaut, the tracking and fleet management specialist, has been named one of the UK's fastest-growing technology companies in only its fifth year of trading. The annual Sunday Times Tech Track 100 list ranks the Leeds-based telematics supplier at number 63. UK managing director Martin Port has said the development reflects the fact that Masternaut is 'an extremely successful, ground-breaking company with a sales record to prove it'. The company reports profits of over £1 million on a turnover of more than £14 million. It has over 100 employees, and says its a customer base now runs to 1,200 organisations. Masternaut was set up in 2002 as the UK arm of the French-based Masternaut organisation, which since then has also opened operations in Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg and Switzerland. More recently the UK company acquired Three X, the field service specialist, and has become party to a three-way partnership involving Masternaut, Three X and O2.
