Satamatics to market Dilupe in-cab terminals
Satamatics, the telematics and tracking specialist that focuses particularly on true Inmarsat-based tracking, has signed a long-term contract with Belgian data terminal manufacturer Dilupe. Under the deal, the two companies will promote each other's products, and Satamatics will have exclusive rights to the DMT-70, a new data terminal that has been designed by Dilupe specifically to integrate into Satamatics' range of Inmarsat D+ and IsatM2M satellite terminals. Satamatics says it is currently enhancing its turnkey solutions and part solutions for its global customer base of value added resellers and distributors. It says Dilupe's operator terminals will provide an 'important building-block' for fleet management solutions and other applications where text messaging is crucial. This might take the form of either pre-defined status or freeform messages, it says.
