Grabba mobile accessories from Varlink
The range of mobile computing accessories from Grabba International is being promoted by Varlink, the York-based mobile computing and data capture specialist. It includes barcode scanners, smartcard readers, magnetic stripe readers, RFID readers and combination readers. Grabba devices are said to be compatible with a growing range of smartphones and PDAs, including HP iPAQs and HTC units that are already available from Varlink. The company sees particularly attractions for the increasing number of users who want to add single-handed and affordable scanning to handheld computers. Among attractions of the Grabba range is the fact that its devices can be removed from and reattached to PDAs and smartphones easily if there is a need to use a use the host device on its own. Grabba is a private corporation based in Queensland, Australia, and also has a presence in the US and South-East Asia.
