Rapid response service for personal tracking system
A rapid response service for GPS location system users has been launched by Blue Tree Services, a specialist in personal tracking systems. It is intended both for users of its own BlueRanger GPS tracking device, and for users of other GPS-enabled mobiles phone or PDAs, providing they have the company's KoolTrax software installed. The service is has so far been launched in Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire, and will be rolled out progressively to other areas. It is being operated in partnership with SG1 Security and Responding Officers, who are first-aid trained and professionally certified by the Security Industry Association. Blue Trees systems target both old and vulnerable people and lone workers in general. Benefits are said to include accurate, real-time location information, risk mitigation, and improved safety and security. The rapid response service costs £9.99 per user per month and £19.99 for each call-out.
