A range of comprehensive end-to-end mobility solutions is expected to be the outcome of an agreement forged between Ryzex, the technology lifecycle services company, and DA Systems, the mobile data software company specialising in the courier and transport market.

The two companies say their partnership will result in a range of solutions that include hardware, software, voice and data airtime, data hosting and management, remote device management and maintenance services - all of it delivered under a single managed service.

The agreement falls within Ryzex's 'mobility ISV' program, under which it is already working with suppliers such as MobileWorxs, Innovation Software and B2M. The company brings to the party its FullUse technology lifecycle services, which handle a variety of rugged mobility hardware including rugged PDAs and mobile printers.

DA Systems for its part will be supplying its ACI and NX mobile data software solutions as part of the deal. The company points out that it remains hardware-independent, and says it is pleased to be working with a partner that can provide clients with independent advice on the most suitable hardware for their needs.
