Businesses using MobiForms rapid-development software to create mobile applications now have a range of new features that they can build into their systems.

Version 4.0 includes timers, SMTP email and commands that dynamically change object attributes at runtime (items such as font colours and sizes).

The Deployment Wizard has also been extended to include more device and operating environment combinations, and incorporates a tab for database deployment.

Version 4.0 has also been certified with the open-source HSQLDB database system. MobiForms includes a free copy of HSQLDB for server, standalone or mobile database applications, complementing the MobiForms Developer tool and the Mobiforms runtime interpreter.

 

The company says MobiForms offers all the tools in one 'box' for the creation and deployment of any type of mobile application, from surveys to field service, from signature capture to barcoding.
