Isotrak strengthens logistics analysis credentials
More developments could be in prospect in the 'active transport management' system that is being promoted by Isotrak, originally a vehicle tracking specialist. Isotrak's approach applies what the company calls 'transport efficiency analysis', or TEA - a tool that uses real operational data to highlight areas in which transport and logistics fleets can save money and reduce their carbon footprint by increasing transport efficiency from planning to execution. Isotrak has reinforced its drive to expand in this way by recruiting a business development analyst from the world of logistics. She is Anne-Sophie Bernoux, who has previously worked for Cemex UK, NYK/UCI Logistics and Hoyer. Perhaps revealingly, her experience includes functions such as cross-docking, routing and scheduling, warehousing and transport optimisation.
