Momote, the mobile workforce management solutions specialist, has announced a partnership agreement with Fleetwood Electronics, a manufacturer of remote asset management hardware, to offer end-to-end mobile workforce management solutions. The company says its applications can be deployed 'within weeks'.

By offering a complete solution from development to deployment, together with device management, Momote says it is offering an alternative to 'development-only tools and expensive managed services'.

By adopting this approach, it says customers can create 'self-managed' applications that provide a fast return on investment and a lower cost of ownership.

The new solution set has been created with Momote's MX Platform technology, and operates on Fleetwood's ruggedised BluePort handheld terminals.

 

Fleetwood offers a range of products including software applications, mobile communications, GPS-based location tracking, engine management and mobile devices. Momote delivers customised applications which are said to be able to operate across all platforms and devices.
