More seamless performance on TETRA networks

Emergency services or other organisations using or planning to use the TETRA system for mobile communications might be interested in a product that promises better performance with instant messaging between individuals and groups, image distribution, integrated mobile access to key databases, and work flow automation.

Portalify, and company specialising in these things, has announced a development that should ensure seamless interoperability of data messaging solutions and the TetraNode TETRA network run by Rohill, a leading Netherlands-based supplier.

TetraNode is said to be fully compliant with the popular digital and open TETRA standard, and aims to create a true multi-vendor environment.

Portalify's solutions are based on Portalify Data Messaging Server, which enables the applications to run on all messaging-capable mobile networks, including TETRA and GSM.
