Set up your own handwriting profile with latest MyScript Stylus

Even people whose handwriting style differs from 'average' can make use of the latest version of MyScript Stylus, according to developer Vision Objects. Version 3.0 of the application includes a training module that enables users to set up their own profile.

MyScript Stylus is designed for touchscreen-based computers, replacing the keyboard in applications requiring text entry by converting natural handwriting into digital text in real time.

It is said to deal effectively with what the company calls 'natural and specific gestures' to insert words, spaces and line breaks or delete text and words (such as crossings-out, scribbles and so on).

The latest version recognises natural handwriting in 26 languages, and supports languages written from right to left. It also supports Windows, Linux and Apple operating systems.
