A company specialising in services to the vehicle telematics industry has been set up in Leeds by Phil Goldstone, who has previously worked in this field with Minorplanet and Fleetmatics. It is called MG Solutions.

Goldstone says the company is offering a wide range of services including recruitment, interim management and sales and marketing consultancy.

'We are in a specialist industry with its own particular requirements and we have proved over the last year that the industry needs the services of people who understand and have experience in the telematics industry.'

He says the company is ideally placed to provide backup to businesses embarking on short-term projects such as bringing new products to market. It can also provide cover when key staff leave unexpectedly or become unavailable.
