Zetes launches configurable IND truckmount

IND truckmount from Zetes

A tough new truckmount terminal from Zetes' German affiliate manufacturer IND has been added to the range offered by the company. It features a 10.4in backlit touch screen with SVGA or XGA resolution, a strong steel/aluminium-alloy casing, and a good dust and water resistance rating of IP65.

The FTF3475 is built round Intel’s compact Atom N270 processor running at 1.6GHz. This is coupled with up to 2GB of RAM, up to 16GB of flash memory or a 32GB to 64GB solid-state disk.

An unusually wide range of operating systems is offered, including Linux and Microsoft XP, XPe and Windows 7.

Whilst these are the basic specifications, Zetes points out that the unit is designed to be custom-configured to suit individual users’ requirements. It adds that the device is designed to fit inside the smallest cab spaces, or can also be used as a rugged laptop computer.

IND has been working closely with Zetes for the past 15 years.
